- A Google User Review added: 2018.04.19★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆VERY VERY POOR SERVICE - We undertook their full vetting service earlier in the autumn of 2011 and bought their sales patter they told us would fully vet any potential tenants .A little while later they contacted us and feedback that they had found a professional tenant and that they had passed all checks and a rent guarantee insurance was in place. What happened to us was that once the tenant moved in, first it took us 2 months to receive the deposit and remaining monies owed from them after continued requests to the agent to get the funds from them and the related contract and rent guarantee documentation. To our horror we discovered little or no vetting had taken place and the promised rent guarantee insurance was not valid due to the required documentation and references were not received from the tenant or obtained by the agent (this should have been undertaken before the tenant moved in). We also discovered the tenancy agreement was not legal as the clauses in the contract were not numbered correctly. After the first month we did not receive any rent from the tenant and it cost us thousands to evict the tenant the agent basically washed their hands of the matter and said they were no longer involved . We then contacted the OEA Estate Agents ombudsmen service and discovered they were not members of the service clearly this was misrepresentation as they had the OEA logo plastered all over their literature. Avoid this agent like the plague if you don't want a poor service that will cost you thousands
